CAD Operator/Designer

Position Description and Responsibilities:

The CAD Operator/Designer will perform CAD drafting for transportation-related projects, primarily for roadway design and overall plan production, but may also assist with structures, traffic, and water resources. Will be responsible for drafting, plan production, plan assemblage, and other duties necessary for producing final sets of plans, specifications, and estimates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office is required.  Experience in CAD based software and plan production for transportation projects is desired. Must be self-directed individual and able to perform all required duties with guidance from staff engineers. Must be dedicated to quality work and operating as part of a team.

Education Requirements:

Technical Degree with a focus in Computer Aided Drafting or currently pursuing a Technical degree with a focus in Computer Aided Drafting is preferred.
